2010 Remembrance Day Ceremony and Lunch

On Thursday 11 November 2010, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the 2010 Remembrance Day Ceremony, at which the Governor-General delivered the Commemorative Address, laid a wreath at the Stone of Remembrance, and laid a sprig of wattle at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a Remembrance Day lunch. Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Zimbabwe, Mr Matthew Neuhaus.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the Governor-General of Tuvalu, His Excellency Iakoba Taeia Italeli, by Colonel Dennis Scanlan CSM RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
