On Wednesday 11 October 2017, at Meals on Wheels South Australia (MoWSA) West Torrens Branch, Brooklyn Park, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the President of MoWSA, Mr Bill Coomans, viewed the facilities and met with staff and volunteers.

Afterwards, at the headspace Adelaide Centre, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Clinical Director, headspace Adelaide, Dr Julie Connor, participated in a tour of the centre, and met with staff and volunteers.

In the evening, at Titanium Security Area, Findon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President of Netball Australia, Mr Robert Shaw, attended the Constellation Cup Match Three and met with players and staff of the Samsung Australian Diamonds and New Zealand Silver Ferns.
