On Tuesday 5 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Ms Julia Shea, Principal, met with staff and students at St Peter's Girls’ School, Stonyfell.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Professor Steve Wesselingh, Executive Director, visited the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) to meet with staff and patients.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a lunch for Adelaide-based patronages and recipients of honours and awards at Chianti Restaurant, Adelaide.

Then, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mr Keith Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Women's Aboriginal AFL Academy at Port Adelaide Football Club.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, travelled to Coober Pedy. There, as guests of Mr Tim Jackson, Administrator, and Mr Colin Pittman, Acting Chief Executive Officer, District Council of Coober Pedy, Their Excellecies attended a briefing with Council staff and other stakeholders at the Desert Cave Hotel.
