On Tuesday 14 November 2017, at the Jamie Larcombe Centre, Adelaide the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Clinical Director, Dr Taryn Cowain, viewed the facilities and met with staff and patients.

Afterwards, at Keswick Barracks, Adelaide, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President of the 9th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (9 RAR) Association, Mr Doug McGrath, attended the 9 RAR 50th Anniversary Remembrance Service.

In the afternoon, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for the players and support staff of the Governor-General’s XI and England Women’s Cricket Team.
