On Tuesday 4 August 2020, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Tony Collins, Principal, met with staff and students at Centralian Senior College.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Kerrie Russell, Principal, visited the Alice Springs School of the Air, and joined an interactive distance learning session with students.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Donna Ah Chee, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Congress Early Childhood Learning Centre.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Merrilee Cox, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Mental Health Association of Central Australia.

Afterwards, as guests of Cr Damien Ryan, Mayor, Alice Springs Town Council, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley attended a Civic Reception.
