On Wednesday 5 August 2020, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, co-hosted a PT session with Major James Hill, Officer Commanding, for members of NORFORCE's Centre Squadron.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Liza Balmer, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr Leisa McCarthy, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, met with staff and Indigenous traditional artists at Tjanpi Desert Weavers.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Sarah Brown AM, Chief Executive Officer, met with staff and patients at the Purple House, and inspected the organisation's mobile dialysis unit, the Purple Truck.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley returned to Government House, Canberra.
