Australian Bravery Decorations Council; 72nd Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea commemorative service

On Thursday 8 May 2014, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), met with members of the Australian Bravery Decorations Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Geoff Brown AO.

Later, at the Australian-American Memorial, Russell, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President, Australian-American Association ACT, Ms Alicia Doherty, and Vice President, Mr Mark Gibson-Huck, attended a service commemorating the 72nd Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea.
