Australian Federal Police; Cyprus Archaeological Museum
On Saturday 2 June 2012, at Ledra Palace, Nicosia, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, met with the Australian Federal Police Contingent attached to the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus.
Afterwards, at the Cyprus Archaeological Museum, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce met with the Director of Antiquities, Dr Maria Hadjicosti.
Later, at Larnaca Airport, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce were officially farewelled from the Republic of Cyprus by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Dr Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis.
Then, at Heathrow Airport, London, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce were welcomed by the High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Mr John Dauth AO LVO.
