Australia’s Federation Guard 15th Birthday morning tea; Opening of ‘Learning and Innovation for a New Queensland’ Precinct at Sheldon College; Opening of ‘Jennifer Reeves Building’ at St Hilda’s School
On Friday 20 March 2015, at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Officer Commanding, Australia’s Federation Guard, Major Francois Nozaic, attended a morning tea to celebrate the 15th Birthday of the Guard.
Afterwards, in Sheldon, Brisbane, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Principal, Dr Lyn Bishop, opened the ‘Learning and Innovation for a New Queensland’ Precinct at Sheldon College and met with teachers and students.
Later, in Southport, Gold Coast, the Governor-General, as guest of the Head of School, Mr Peter Crawley, opened the ‘Jennifer Reeves Building’ at St Hilda’s School and met with teachers and students.
