Belconnen Community Services Seniors Expo

On Tuesday 19 March 2013, at the Belconnen Community Centre, Belconnen, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the President of Belconnen Community Services, Mrs Gillian Boyd, attended the inaugural ‘Your Community Our Community Seniors Expo,’ as part of Seniors Week 2013.

Afterwards, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General received the Minister of National Defence for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, General Phung Quang Thanh, and the Minister for Defence, the Honourable Stephen Smith MP.

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, received the Chief Executive Officer of the National Safety Council of Australia, Mr Adam Baldock.

Then, the Governor-General received the Director of the Canberra International Music Festival, Mr Chris Latham.

Earlier, at the Rydges Lakeside Hotel, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, delivered an address at the opening of the Asthma Australia Conference.
