On Monday 2 April 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Dr Lyn Bishop OAM, Principal, visited Sheldon College, Brisbane.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a morning tea for Queensland-based patronages, at Customs House.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a lunch for Queensland-based recipients of Australian honours and awards, at the Malt Cellar.

Then, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Ms Roycelyn Wilden, Principal, visited Saint William’s School, Grovely.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove met with His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland, and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, at Government House, Queensland.
