On Saturday 21 May 2016, at Government House, Brisbane, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove met with the Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs de Jersey.

Afterwards, at Ballymore Stadium, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Australian Army Rugby Union Old Boys ‘Leopards’, Mr Murray Harley, attended the Australian Services Rugby Union Gala Day.

Later, at St Stephens Cathedral, Brisbane, the Governor-General, as Patron-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Mr John Scoble, volunteered at the Rosies Friends on the Street, Youth Mission Outreach Service.
