On Friday 22 September 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Counsellor Grant Henley, Mayor, City of Busselton, visited Bio Soil Solutions. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Counsellor Henley, visited the Busselton Jetty and the Underwater Observatory.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Counsellor Henley met with community and youth services representatives.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Counsellor Henley, met with the Executive Committee members of the Busselton Returned Services League (RSL). 

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Counsellor Henley, attended a lunch with Councillors, community leaders and State Emergency Services members.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Counsellor Henley, attended a Citizenship Ceremony in the City of Busselton Council Chambers.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Busselton, Western Australia, to Perth, Western Australia.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr David Thomas, President, visited the Australian Special Air Services Association (ASASA) Western Australia branch, where the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley presented the Vietnam War Commemorative Medallions and certificates to veterans.
