Call by His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium

On Friday 23 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received the Australian Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mr Duncan Lewis AO DSC CSC.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium.

Later, the Governor-General hosted a lunch in honour of His Royal Highness. Then, the Governor-General received the Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic, His Excellency Mr Rui Quartin-Santos.

Earlier, at Cairns International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Federated States of Micronesia, His Excellency the Honourable Emanuel Mori, by Commander Wendy Bullen CSM ADC RAN, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

In the morning, at Canberra International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Canberra of His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium, by the Official Secretary, Mr Stephen Brady CVO. In the evening, the Governor-General was represented at the departure of His Royal Highness from Canberra, by Mr Brady.
