Call by the Prime Minister; Dinner for State and Territory Official Secretaries

On Wednesday 4 March 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the Prime Minister, the Honourable Tony Abbott MP.

Later, the Governor-General, received the Private Secretary to Her Majesty The Queen, Sir Christopher Geidt KCB KCVO OBE.

Then, the Governor-General, received the Japanese Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Mr Yoshitaka Akimoto.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a dinner for State and Territory Official Secretaries. Guests included: Ms Carol Buckley MVO; Mr Charles Curwen CVO; Brian Davies Esq LVO; The Right Honourable Sir Christopher Geidt KCB KCVO OBE; Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM; Mr Ritchie Hollands; Mr Michael Miller RFD; Mr David Owen; and Ms Helen Wiffen.
