Call by the Secretary General of World Scouting; Call by the Ambassador of Ukraine; Dinner in honour of Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston AC AFC

On Tuesday 21 June 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Chief Scout, received the Secretary General of World Scouting, Mr Luc Panissod.

Afterwards, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Commissioner for Integrated Design from the South Australian Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Mr Tim Horton.

Later, the Governor-General received a farewell call from the Ambassador of Ukraine,

His Excellency Mr Valentyn Adomaytis and Mrs Alla Adomaytis.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to Japan, Mr Bruce Miller.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a dinner to mark the forthcoming retirement of Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston AC AFC as Chief of Defence Force.
