On Tuesday 28 June 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received Senator the Honourable Judith Troeth.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Hungary, Mr John Griffin.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, received Chairman, Professor Ross Chambers; Executive Director, Reverend Professor James Haire AM; and Board Member, Lieutenant General John Sanderson AC (Retd).

In the evening, the Governor-General received the Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mr Doug Trappett, who was accompanied by Mrs Robyn Trappett and Master Hugh Trappett.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Queensland Court of Appeal Judge, the Honourable Justice Margaret White.
