On Monday 27 June 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Ambassador-designate to the People’s Republic of China, Ms Frances Adamson.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner for the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Mr Albert Chua.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Director-General of the National Gallery of Australia, Ms Anne-Marie Schwirtlich.

In the evening, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Group Captain Brian Duddington AM ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

Later, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Colonel Dennis Scanlan CSM RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
