On Thursday 30 May 2019, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Her Excellency Dr Anna Prinz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, for a farewell call.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted an event for Government House staff to acknowledge National Reconciliation Week.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr James Brown, President of Returned Services League NSW.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Huntingtower School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
