On Monday 13 August 2018, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Her Excellency Ms Helena Drnovsek-Zorko, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, for a farewell call.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as the guest of Mrs Judy Mack, President, Legacy Canberra, attended the monthly meeting, at Legacy House, Deakin.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Scone Grammar College, NSW; and Norseman District High School, WA, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
