On Thursday 31 May 2018 the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received the Ambassador-Designate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr Ridwaan Jadwat, at Government House, Canberra.

Earlier, the Governor-General participated in a video call with students from St Paul’s Primary School, VIC, as part of their civics and citizenship class.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students from Trangie Central School, NSW; Malabar Public School, NSW; Fig Tree Pocket State School, QLD; and Epping Views Primary School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
