On Wednesday 28 March 2018, at the Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), met with participants of the Alpine Valley Community Leadership Program, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House.

In the afternoon, Lady Cosgrove, as Patron, and the Governor-General hosted a reception for the National Council of Women Australia.

Earlier, the Governor-General participated in a video call from Tasman District School, TAS as part of their civics and citizenship classes.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students from St Clement’s of Rome Primary, VIC as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
