On Friday 15 December 2017, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received the Chair and Commissioners of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse to present their final report.

Earlier, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Mr George Kanyamula Zulu, and Mrs Alice Mwale.
