On Wednesday 1 November 2017, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the Acting First Assistant Secretary, Europe Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Kevin Magee.
Afterwards, the Governor-General met with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, His Excellency Dr Dragan Čović, and received: the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, His Excellency Mr Mirza Hajrić; Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Mrs Tonka Kreŝić Gagro; and the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Neretva Canton, Mr Neveko Herceg.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for members of a European Union Trade Delegation.
Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Cudgegong Valley Public School, NSW; St Joseph’s Clare, SA; and Ballarat Christian College, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
