On Tuesday 29 August 2017, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for One Young World’s (OYW) Australian delegates, prior to their departure to Columbia for the annual OYW summit.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, hosted an award ceremony for the Constitution Education Fund Australia, at which the Governor-General presented the 2016 Governor-General’s Prize.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Manly West State School, QLD; St Luke’s Primary School, QLD; and Trentham Primary School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
