On Wednesday 22 May 2019, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), conducted an interview with Ms Lorraine Lister for Radio 1RPH.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted students from Curtin Primary School, ACT, for a reading of Matt Cosgrove’s ‘Alpacas with Maracas’, as part of the Australian Library and Information Association’s National Simultaneous Storytime.

Earlier the Governor-General met with students from Killarney Heights Public School, NSW, and Yackandandah Primary School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
