On Tuesday 11 December 2018, the Governor-General, His Excellency General Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as the Commander-in-Chief and Reviewing Officer, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the Royal Military College Duntroon Graduation Parade and Commissioning Ceremony, at Duntroon.

Then, Lady Cosgrove, as Patron, and the Governor-General attended the opening of the Cancer Council ACT’s new branch in Deakin as guests of Ms Christine Brill, President of the Cancer Council ACT.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received General Angus Campbell AO DSC, Chief of the Defence Force.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Boyup Brook District High School, WA.
