On Wednesday 21 November 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mr Peter Carrigy-Ryan, CEO, Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC), attended an end-of-year reception, at CSC Canberra.

Later, Lady Cosgrove, as Patron, and the Governor-General, as guests of Mrs Debbie Rolfe AM, Chair, Canberra Hospital Foundation, attended a function at GIO Stadium Canberra to recognise the Foundation’s supporters.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Illawarra Primary School, TAS; Penleigh & Essendon Grammar, VIC; Stawell Primary School, VIC; Geraldton Senior School, WA; and St Francis Xavier Primary School, NSW.

Earlier, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival to Australia of His Excellency Mr Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India and Mrs Savita Kovind, by Mr Paul Singer MVO, Acting Official Secretary to the Governor-General.
