On Monday 17 September 2018 at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the Honourable Scott Morrison MP, Prime Minister of Australia.

Afterwards, in recognition of Australian Citizenship Day, the Governor-General, as Presiding Officer, and Lady Cosgrove, attended a Citizenship Ceremony and Youth Forum at the Museum of Australian Democracy, Canberra.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from St Columbas Primary School, QLD; and St Mary’s Anglican Girl’s School, WA, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
