On Thursday 8 March 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), hosted an afternoon tea for Zoo2Zoo riders completing the Melbourne to Canberra leg.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, the Right Honourable Martine Haese, attended a reception in recognition of International Women’s Day 2018 at Adelaide Town Hall.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Ballarat Christian School, Victoria, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
