On Monday 13 November 2017, at Parliament House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General administered the Oaths and Affirmations of Allegiance to Senators Fraser Anning, Andrew Bartlett and Jordan Steele-John.

In the afternoon, at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chief Operating Officer, Ms Lisa Lynch, viewed the facilities and met with staff and patients.

Afterwards, at SYC, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the CEO, Mr Paul Edington, viewed the facilities and met with staff and clients.

Later, at Youth 110, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the CEO of St John’s Youth Services, Ms Wendy Malycha, viewed the facilities and met with staff and clients.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, at the Hilton Hotel, Adelaide, as guests of the President of the 9th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (9 RAR) South Australian Association, Mr David Stacey, attended the 9 RAR 50th Anniversary reunion dinner.
