On Tuesday 11 August 2020, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley attended the ACT State Memorial Service in honour of Ms Susan Salthouse.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted lunch for Mr Allan Behm, International and Security Affairs Advisor, The Australia Institute.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from the Honourable Scott Morrison MP, Prime Minister of Australia.
