On Wednesday 26 February 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Ms Elizabeth Day, Ambassador to Switzerland. 

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from St Patrick’s Primary School, Victoria, as they undertook a school tour of Government House. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Professor Leah Bromfield, Director, and Ms Lisa McDonald, Centre Manager, Australian Centre for Child Protection.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received a call from Ms Micaela Cronon, Commissioner, Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commission.

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from St Pauls Lutheran Primary School, Queensland, as they undertook a school tour of Government House. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, New South Wales, as they undertook a school tour of Government House. 

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Robert De Castella AO MBE, Founder and Director, Mr Greg Wallace MBE, General Manger, and Ms Renata Hickson, National Operations Manager, Indigenous Marathon Foundation. 

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for the 2025 John Monash Scholars at Government House, Canberra.
