On Friday 21 August 2020, at Government House, Canberra, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley met with the Wattle Grove Early Learning Centre via video conference to discuss their involvement with Paint the Town REaD.

Afterwards, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received Mr Greg Thomson, Masters student, Asia Pacific College of Diplomacy.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Cr Jason Schram, Mayor, and Mr Peter Brown, Chief Executive Officer, Colac Otway Shire Council, via video conference to discuss the impact of COVID-19.
