On Monday 12 August 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Annette Schneider, CEO, attended the Together For Humanity National Youth Summit.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency Ms Hellen De La Vega, Ambassador for the Philippines, attended the ASEAN Day Reception.

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Michelle Chan, Deputy Secretary, South and Southeast Asia Group, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Rick Hanlon OAM, General Manager, AFL Cape York Ltd.

Later, the Governor-General hosted afternoon tea for members of the Timor-Leste Women’s Parliamentary Group.

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
