On Thursday 30 April 2020, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, received a call from Ms Natalie Egleton, Chief Executive Officer, Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, to discuss the impact of COVID-19.

Later, the Governor-General received a call from the Honourable Shane Stone AC, Chairman, Council for the Order of Australia.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, participated in a video interview with Mr Clyde Campbell, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Shake It Up Australia Foundation, to mark Parkinson’s Awareness Month.
