On Wednesday 27 May 2020, at Government House, Canberra, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a live reading of Chicken Divas for the Australian Library and Information Association's National Simultaneous Storytime 2020.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received a phone call from Mrs Pam Palmer, Organiser, Families of the Fallen.

Then, Mrs Hurley, as Patron, received a phone call from Sister Liz Wiemers, Sisters of the Good Samaritan Foundation.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Tony Dalton, Deputy Secretary, National Naval Shipbuilding, Department of Defence, for a call.
