On Friday 29 May 2020, at Government House, Canberra, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Ms Karen Mundine, Chief Executive Officer, met with staff of Reconciliation Australia via video conference in recognition of National Reconciliation Week.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Dr Toby Angstmann, Founder and Owner, visited Underground Spirits in Kambah.

Later, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General recorded a radio interview with The West via telephone.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Ricky Grace, Chief Executive Officer, Girls Academy, met with students and development officers in NT, WA, QLD and NSW via video conference for National Reconciliation Week.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Craig Brierty, Chief Operations Officer, Clontarf Foundation, met with students via video conference for National Reconciliation Week.
