On Tuesday 29 September 2020, at Government House, Canberra, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley provided books - donated by staff of the Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General - to Lifeline Canberra and participated in a photo.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Letters of Credence from Ms Pernille Dahler Kardel, the Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Later, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for Mr Nick Warner AO PSM, Director-General, Office of National Intelligence.
Then, the Governor-General participated in an interview for The Lowy Institute's Director’s Chair podcast via video conference.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Commissioner Reece Kershaw APM and Mrs Michelle Kershaw, attended and laid a wreath at the National Police Remembrance Day Service.
