On Tuesday 9 July 2019, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), received Mr Nico Padovan, First Assistant Secretary, and Mr Colin Hunter, Assistant Secretary, North Queensland Livestock Industry Recovery Agency, for a call.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Frances Adamson, Secretary, and Ms Ayla Black, Policy Officer, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, for a call.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Mr Paul Symon AO, Director-General, Australian Secret Intelligence Service, for a call.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from PLC and Scotch College, Cottesloe, Western Australia, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
