Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a lunch for Mr Scott Saddler AM and emerging Indigenous leaders in recognition of NAIDOC Week 2020. Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley recorded a video message for the Veterans Film Festival.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, attended a Last Post Ceremony for Warrant Officer Second Class Dasher Wheatley VC.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Ally Cameron and Mr George Wheatley, attended a family reception following the Last Post Ceremony for Warrant Officer Second Class Dasher Wheatley VC.
