On Tuesday 10 September 2019, at Government House Canberra, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received members of Postvention Australia (PVA) and PVA’s National Reference Group, including: Mr Brad Farmer AM; Emeritus Professor Ian Webster AO; Mr Alan Staines OAM; Dr Diana Sands; Ms Adele Cox; Ms Carol Zhou-Sheng.

Afterward, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mrs Heather Borrie, President, attended an afternoon tea for the 90th Birthday of the Presbyterian Women’s Association (Day Branch) at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Forrest.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Frances Adamson, Secretary, attended a reception for the Global Heads of Mission at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
