On Thursday 19 August 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with Ms Michelle Endacott, Chief Executive, Prince’s Trust Australia, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley met with Dr Jason Agostino, Medical Advisor, and Dr Dawn Casey PSM, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General received a phone call from the Reverend David Campbell, Senior Minister, Presbyterian Church of St Andrew’s, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Kym Pfitzner, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Ross Pinney, President, Australian Red Cross, via video conference.
