On Friday 27 August 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as joint Patrons and guests of Mr Danny Schwarz, Chief Executive Officer, Playgroup Victoria, participated in a Playgroup Live session, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with Mr Steve Howard, Secretary General, Global Foundation, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Rob De Castella AO MBE, Founder and Director, and members of the Indigenous Marathon Foundation, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Mathew Franklin, Director, and Ms Jean Giese, Chief Executive Officer, VolunteeringACT, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor General and Mrs Hurley participated in a virtual Q&A session with the Australia-Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program participants, via video conference.
