On Monday 20 September 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley met with Mr Scott Gadd, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Mitch Spong, Operations Manager, Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with staff and students of Dominic College (Glenorchy), via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with the Australian Antarctic Division, including: Mr Kim Ellis, Director, Mr Rob Bryson, General Manager Assets and Infrastructure, Mr Charlton Clark, General Manager Operations and Safety, and Mr Kyle Williams, Casey Station Leader, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with members of the Honours and Awards Team at Government House, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Councillor Albert van Zetten, Mayor, City of Launceston, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with members of the Bravery and Order of Australia Team at Government House, via video conference.
