On Wednesday 29 September 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley met with Ms Kylie Flament, General Manager, and staff of Green Connect, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General recorded video messages for RSV Nuyina, the National Health Leadership Conference, Carers Week and Scouts – Jamboree of the Air.

Later, the Governor-General met with Dr Lachlan Strahan, Australian High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Letters of Credence accrediting Dato' Roslan Abdul Rahman as the High Commissioner for Malaysia, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Letters of Credence accrediting Mr Sonam Tobgay as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan, via video conference.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Letters of Credence accrediting Mr Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri as the High Commissioner for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, via video conference.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Commissioner Reece Kershaw APM, attended the National Police Remembrance Day Service at the National Police Memorial.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Councillor Phillip Curr, Mayor, and Councillor Janene Fegan, Deputy Mayor, McKinley Shire Council, via video conference.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Ms Rachel Dunn, Chief Executive Officer, and staff of Karadi Aboriginal Corporation, via video conference.
