On Wednesday 17 July 2019, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), received Ms Pamela O’Grady, Acting Chief of Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Ms Jenny Cartmill, Deputy Chief of Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a lunch for Major General the Honourable Michael Jeffery AC AO(Mil) CVO MC (Retd), former Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mrs Marlena Jeffery.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Duncan Lewis AO DSC CSC, Director-General, Australian Security Intelligence Organisation.

Then, the Governor-General received Major General Greg Melick AO RFD SC (Retd), National President, Returned and Services League of Australia.
