On Saturday 12 October 2019, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Commodore Peter Leavy CSM RAN, Commandant, Australian Defence Force Academy, attended the 2019 Disher Cup Rowing Regatta.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley attended Government House Open Day.

During Open Day, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an awards ceremony for the Australian Rotary Districts and Clubs’ Emergency Services Community Awards.
