On Friday 25 November 2022, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received Mr Rohan Greenland, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Jeremy Henderson, Head of Advocacy, MS Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, recorded video messages for the Special Olympics and the Smith Family.

Later, the Governor-General received Vice Admiral Mark Hammond AM RAN, Chief of Navy.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK AFC (Retd), Chair, attended the Canberra Symphony Orchestra's 2022 Fundraising Gala.
