On Monday 28 November 2022, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr David Smith MP and Senator Matt O'Sullivan, Parliamentary Christian Fellowship, attended the 2022 National Prayer Breakfast.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Agus Yudhoyono, Chair, Democratic Party, Republic of Indonesia, and Mr Sigit Raditya, Executive Director, Democratic Party, Republic of Indonesia.

Later, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr António Da Silva, Ambassador of Portugal.

Then, the Governor-General received a phone call from Councillor Chris Bilkey, Mayor, Murray River Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received a phone call from Councillor Les McPhee, Mayor, Swan Hill Rural City Council.

Later, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Ms Thippawan Santipitaks, Ambassador of Thailand.

Then, the Governor-General received a phone call from Councillor Liam Wood, Mayor, Mildura Rural City Council.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted the closing ceremony for the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia’s Global Leadership Academy.
